The Duke of Edinburgh was laid to rest as the Duchess of Sussex watched on from her home in the US. Meghan, who is expecting the couple’s second child remembered her husband’s grandfather from 5,000 miles away in California after doctors advised her not to fly. Meghan and Harry personally chose the locally-sourced flowers for their tribute – including Acanthus mollis (Bear’s breeches), the national flower of Greece, to represent Philip’s heritage, and Eryngium (sea holly), to represent the Royal Marines.
