+ May 16, 2021 THREE foreign nationals who were allegedly involved in illegal drug trade were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City recently.
Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon identified the suspects as Harrison Steve, Christian Uwadiegwu and Caleb Njemonze, all Nigerian nationals.
De Leon said investigation revealed that the suspects are members of notorious “Mr. IZO” drug group under “COPLAN SNOOPDOGG,” who are engaged in gun-running, illegal drug trafficking and other illegal activities operating in Angeles City and nearby municipalities.
The trio yielded 11 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 25 grams with an estimated value of P170,000, a tumbler containing 35 grams of marijuana with estimated worth of P3,850, guns and ammunition and other personal belongings.
May 12, 2021 ALMOST P266 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by law enforcers in the past 10 days, Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año said on Monday, May 10, 2021.
In his report to President Rodrigo Duterte, Año said 29,981.1 kilograms of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) and 516.9 kilograms of marijuana with an estimated total value of P265,904,094 were seized during 1,121 anti-narcotics operations conducted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) from May 1 to 9.
Año also said 1,543 drug users and peddlers were arrested, 19 were killed during the operations, and 38 surrendered.
PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar said they will beef up coordination with the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils, which are primarily in charge of the conduct of house-to-house visits to entice drug users or pushers to mend their ways as mandated in the Dangerous Drug Board Resolution No. 3 series
May 06, 2021 AN ESTIMATED P3.4 million worth of suspected shabu was recovered in a buy-bust operation conducted by the joint elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Western Visayas Special Enforcement Team and Murcia Municipal Police Station at ABL and Sons Farm, Purok Lacson, Barangay Murcia Alegria, Murcia on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
The operation also led to the arrest of Reylan Artus and Justine Ledesma, who were allegedly part of the group led by Andrew Ledesma who owns the farm and the subject of the buy-bust operation.
Recovered from the suspects possession were suspected shabu weighing more or less 500 grams with a standard value of P3.4 million, the buy-bust money and a digital weighing scale, among others.
May 01, 2021 THREE fishermen were arrested while some P1.4 million worth of suspected illegal drugs seized by undercover government agents in an anti-drug operation around 11:10am Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Barangay Manicahan in Zamboanga City.
Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Genaro Ylagan, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula director identified the suspects as Sattar Jamil Alam, 50, Alshimar Jamil Sahali, 25; both from the town of Lantawan, Basilan and Makin Jamil Bahara, 48, from Maluso town.
Ylagan said that the suspects yielded some 205.8 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P1.4 million, 69 pieces of P1,000 boodle money with five genuine P200 bills as marked money.
