Covid fund dishes up £4,000 grant for meal service
Volunteer chefs from the Olive Tree Café have been helping prepare hundreds of meals for the elderly for Central Swindon North Parish Council A HOT meals delivery service that provides a nourishing meal and much-need social contact is continuing in Swindon thanks to a grant from Wiltshire Community Foundation. Central Swindon North Parish Council has been awarded a second grant from the Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund to continue the scheme, which delivers up to 90 meals a week. It was launched by the council with a £2,340 grant in August and has now been awarded a further £4,000 to keep going.
