Public appeal in search for man missing from Greenhithe

Kent Police said on Saturday that 26-year-old Terry Beaton has last been seen in the Charles Street area of Greenhithe on Friday morning (January 8). Trains and stations free of covid in Kent, says Southeastern  |  Updated: 18:42, 31 December 2020 Southeastern says commuters can use its trains and stations in confidence after the latest round of tests for coronavirus has drawn a blank. Trains at the Gillingham depot and on the Sheerness branch line, as well as the large Slade Green depot, were all tested. Swabbing a ticket screen at a Southeastern railway station Swabbing locations included ‘high touch’ points such as grab poles in the carriages, toilet door buttons and the controls in drivers’ cabs. Swab testing was completed on 20 of Southeastern’s busiest stations in the autumn, with six more stations including Sittingbourne, Slade Green, Maidstone East, Ramsgate, Margate and Herne Bay tested in November.

Covid-19 dashboard for the borough of Bexley Coronavirus infection rates are rising once again in south east London, and Bexley, the borough with the highest number of cases in the region, has broken down all the figures behind this rise. Bexley has reported the highest number of weekly Covid-19 cases across south east London for over a month now, and whilst all boroughs saw a decline in infection rates following the November lockdown, this has now changed. The borough s Covid-19 infection rate is today up to 269.0, whilst the rate is even higher in neighbouring Dartford (274.4). The infection rate is expressed as the number of cases per 100,000 people recorded in the last week, as reported by Public Health England.
