Addressing the media conference here, Mr. Sridhar Reddy said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should immediately convene a special Cabinet meeting to finalise a resolution, urging the Centre to take back the new farm laws.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) general secretary Ch. Sridhar Reddy on Friday urged the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government to convene a special Assembly session to facilitate the adoption of a unanimous resolution against the three farm laws.
Addressing the media conference here, Mr. Sridhar Reddy said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should immediately convene a special Cabinet meeting to finalise a resolution, urging the Centre to take back the new farm laws, which were adopted much against the federal spirit of the Constitution as agriculture is a ‘State subject’.

The much-awaited COVID-19 vaccination programme began on a slow pace across the 48 session sites in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Saturday as Sankaranti holidays came in the way of inoculation to all the registered health professionals.
“There has been no adverse event after inoculation of vaccine in SPSR Nellore and Prakasam districts as of now,” according to health officials.

‘He was targeted for trying to expose scams by RTI Act’ A senior BJP activist, who was also party State RTI Cell co-convener, was stabbed to death by a person in Wyra town on Saturday. The deceased was identified as N Rama Rao, 45, of Wyra.
The incident triggered tension in the town as local BJP leaders alleged that the murder was politically motivated.
However, the Wyra police ruled out any political rivalry behind the murder.
The preliminary inquiry suggested that personal enmity owing to financial disputes between the deceased and the accused was the motive behind the killing, police said.
