Model Zara Abid remembered by friends, colleagues on her first death anniversary
On the first death anniversary of Pakistani model Zara Abid, her friends and fellow showbiz colleagues including, Ayesha Omar, Neelam Muneer, Sadaf Kanwal, Nomi Ansari, Fouzia Aman, Tabesh Khoja, Zara Noor Abbas and Hira Mani remembered her and paid emotional tributes.
Zara was one of the passengers on the ill-fated Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK 8303 which crashed in Karachi on May 22, 2020, killing at least 97 people.

Celebrities and fans are showering actor Yasra Rizvi with prayers and blessings after she welcomed her first child on Saturday.
âBeing human is your only introduction and serving fellow beings is your only purpose,â Yasra wrote, sharing a picture of her son.
The actor announced in April that she was expecting her first child after photos from the set of her debut project went viral. It showed Yasra reading a script sitting in front of a monitor, but what caught everyoneâs attention was her baby bump. Yasra expressed her disappointment with the media later for highlighting only her pregnancy and not the project she was directing.

LAHORE: Known TV actor Sumbal Shahid passed away on Thursday at a local hospital where she was admitted a fortnight ago with Covid-related complications.
According to her sister Bushra Ansari, also a known actor, Sumbal was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on April 22 after developing complications caused by Covid-19 and was later put on ventilator when her condition deteriorated.
Her funeral prayers were offered at Cavalry Ground and she was buried in the adjacent graveyard under Covid SOPs.
She was the daughter of writer, columnist Ahmad Bashisr, who would write an English newspaper column under pen name Bullah Shah. Her sister Asma Abbas and niece Zara Noor Abbas are also TV actors.

Veteran actor Sumbul Shahid passed away on Thursday after a prolonged battle with Covid-19. She had been receiving treatment at Lahore’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH) since last month. Her condition deteriorated on April 22, after which she was placed on a ventilator. The actor’s sister Bushra Ansari had previously revealed that both Shahid and their mother Mahmooda Bashir were suffering at the hands of the deadly contagion. Ansari mentioned how it was incredibly difficult for her to see her family “miserable”, adding that she was continuously praying for God to shower His mercy on them.
