CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Kroger will provide a monetary incentive to its workers to encourage them to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
The Cincinnati-based supermarket chain announced the one-time $100 payment Friday, saying it will go to all associates who receive “the full manufacturer-recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.”
Appropriate proof of vaccination is required.
Associates who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical or religious reasons will have the option of completing an educational health and safety course to receive the payment, the company says.

My friend Everett Fly, who is a National for the Humanities medalist, and I, both Alamo Heights High School graduates, are trying to identify Black pioneers of the Alamo Heights school system to recognize. These folk integrated Heights during the 1950s and ’60s. We have some names and need help finding them so we can recognize them. If you could help, it would make a great column for Black History Month in the Express-News. Joseph and I are determined to use the February event to bring awareness to history that has been denied.

Dannielynn Birkhead was only a baby when her famous mother, Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, died of an accidental drug overdose aged just 39.
The now 14-year-old, whose father is photographer Larry Birkhead, has lived largely out of the spotlight, a stark contract to her mother s life.
But Dannielynn is set to make a rare feature in a US 20/20 TV special Tragic Beauty, where she sets off on finding out more about Anna Nicole.
