I am privileged to have met many thousands of fascinating people in my last three decades in this business and featured some of them in this column but, a couple of weeks ago, I met the shadiest character to ever walk through my door and it is my duty to make you aware of him.
When Ed entered my business, he seemed pretty humble and was awfully nice. However, as someone who is fascinated by the shady business that Ed once practiced, I instantly knew who he really was. Ed has a dark past. A dangerous past. He is considered infamous in certain circles and a hero in others. I have no doubt he would have been in jail for the last 30 years if certain authorities caught up with him. He was personally responsible for at least 93 operations that are illegal in every country and sometimes punishable by death.
