INDIANA (WFIE) - Friday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,494 new coronavirus cases and eight more deaths.
This brings the total in the Hoosier state to 720,425 confirmed cases and 12,921 total deaths.
None of Friday’s new deaths were in our local counties.
The state map shows 16 new cases in Vanderburgh County, seven new cases in Dubois County, three new cases in Warrick County, zero new cases in Perry County, three new cases in Posey County, eight new cases in Gibson County, five new cases in Spencer County, and four new case in Pike County.
Hoosiers 16 and older are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines.

INDIANA (WFIE) - Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,406 new coronavirus cases and 11 more deaths.
This brings the total in the Hoosier state to 718,948 confirmed cases and 12,913 total deaths.
None of Thursday’s new deaths were in our local counties.
The state map shows nine new cases in Vanderburgh County, five new cases in Dubois County, six new cases in Warrick County, three new cases in Perry County, zero new cases in Posey County, two new cases in Gibson County, two new cases in Spencer County, and five new case in Pike County.

SPENCER CO., Ind. (WFIE) - The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office shared information Wednesday about a large drug arrest that happened last week.
Deputies say they pulled over a white car speeding on CR 200 N near CR 450 W just outside of Rockport.
They say the driver seemed nervous and had trouble finding his driver’s license.
Deputies say they could smell marijuana and discovered the driver, 30-year-old Steven Perry, of Owensboro, had a warrant out of Perry County.
During a search of the car, deputies say they found about 11 pounds of Marijuana, a small baggy of Methamphetamines, $11,205.00 in cash, 93.59 Ounces of THC Edible Gummies. and Controlled Substances.

INDIANA (WFIE) - On Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,272 new coronavirus cases and 19 more deaths.
This brings the total in the Hoosier state to 717,564 confirmed cases and 12,902 total deaths.
The map shows one of the new deaths is in Vanderburgh County and one is in Perry County.
