Francophone students in the Centre-Nord school division in Strathcona County will finally get their own permanent school.
École Claudette-et-Denis-Tardif was one of the 14 school projects across the province that will receive capital funding from the Alberta government this year, the only school in Strathcona County.

“It is fantastic news. We rejoice with any Francophone infrastructure built in the province but when we get one in our board, it is definitely something to celebrate,” explained Tanya Saumure, chair of the Counseil Scolaire Centre-Nord.
