Stone Glacier, a manufacturer of outdoor equipment, has begun the construction of its new headquarters in Bozeman, MT.
Located at the intersection of Bozeman’s Huffine and Love Lane, the facility spans more than 16,000 square feet featuring a retail store with flagship-only product selection, a lounge visiting area and a stage for live musical performances. The building will also offer increased office space, warehousing and a production footprint for design and prototyping, photography and videography.
“We’re proud to expand our roots in our hometown of Bozeman, MT,” said Jeff Sposito, CEO, Stone Glacier. “Our new facility will provide top-tier amenities to support our growing staff, while the retail storefront will serve as a place to support various community events, live music performances, industry gatherings, and more.”

sleeping pads are arguably as important to a good night’s sleep, nothing gives you a home in the wilds quite like a good tent.
I’ve personally spent hundreds of nights in tents. And when it comes to picking a tent, one truth stands out: No single tent will work well for every situation.
The Chinook touched down, conjuring a cloud of swirling sand and dust around it. U.S. Army Lieutenant Nate Bethea ran from its rear bay with his head down and immediately took cover flat against the ground as small arms fire popped from the village around him. It was July 2009, and Bethea was part of an airborne unit searching for Private Bowe Bergdahl, an American soldier who had walked off an outpost in Afghanistan and been captured by Taliban insurgents.
Bethea was leading a group of soldiers in a war a long way from home. Joining his unit for the rescue mission, and lying prone next to him, was an Air Force joint tactical air controller (commonly referred to as a JTAC). The helicopter lifted off, and once they realized the gunfire wasn’t aimed at them, Bethea and the JTAC moved off the high ground to avoid being silhouetted targets for the enemy.
