Huzzah! Our pubs reopened on Monday, so there’s no more sitting in beer gardens wishing we hadn’t packed our thermal underwear away for the winter.

Around 300 coronavirus vaccinations are available in Stoke-on-Trent today.
Initially 600 jabs were available, but 300 have already been booked in by people from across the city.
Harley Street Medical Centre s practice manager Yvonne Bell explained people in the current vaccination cohort, aged 36 and up, would be prioritised for the jabs at the outreach clinic in Moss Green.

The family of a builder who plunged 16ft from a cow shed roof have paid tribute to his ‘tremendous and fun’ personality.
Martyn Paul Richardson, known as Paul, was trying to mend a broken panel on the roof when his foot went straight through the clear plastic.
