The former Fox News contributor and Clueless star sat down with the Daily Mail on Wednesday and apologized for making a lot of mistakes after joining the network as a commentator back in 2014. Dash was notably dismissive of issues like police brutality, the wage gap, and other issues faced by minorities a role she believes Fox expected her to fill as the angry, conservative, black woman. I’ve lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News. I was the angry, conservative, Black woman and at that time in my life, it was who I was. I realized in 2016 that anger is unsustainable and it will destroy you. I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.
