Stagecoach West says plan ahead if you wish to travel over Christmas and New Year PASSENGERS travelling by road and rail over the Christmas and New Year festive period are being advised to plan ahead. Operators said some routes may be busier than normal, particularly with reduced capacity on train services and engineering work in the Bristol area impacting some rail routes. Bus company Stagecoach West said services throughout Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Bristol will run as normal until Christmas Eve when the last bus will be at 8pm on most routes. Services will resume on Boxing Day with Sunday and special Christmas services in place until New Year’s Eve.
