Bleacher Report and All Elite Wrestling announced the inaugural AEW Dynamite Awards on Wednesday, which are set to be hosted on the B/R app Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. ET.
The awards show will honor the best and most viral moments from the past year. Fans can begin voting on the honors at AEWAwards.com beginning Wednesday.
Shaquille O Neal, Bert Kreischer, Chael Sonnen, Curtis Granderson, Camille Kostek, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Ron Funches, Danielle Fishel Karp and Jensen Karp are set to be presenters at the ceremony, which will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AEW Dynamite Awards will celebrate the top AEW wrestlers and moments from the past year. Categories for the awards include Best Moment on the Mic, Biggest Surprise, Breakout Star ? Male, Breakout Star ? Female, Biggest Beatdown, High Flyer Award, Hardest Moment to Clean Up After, Biggest WTF Moment, LOL Award, Best Twitter Follow, and Bleacher Report PPV Moment of the Year.

WWE has The Slammys, and pretty much every other company hands out annual “Best of” honors.
No self-respecting wrestling promotion would be without a year-end awards show, and All Elite has announced its version. The AEW Dynamite Awards!
Trophies (I guess, the press release doesn’t specify) will be handed out to “top AEW stars and viral moments of the past year.” An awards show will stream on B/R Live later this month, and celebrities will be on hand to announce the winners. Best of all, you can place your vote in several categories right now! They’ll ask you for an email address at the end, but otherwise it’s free.
