The Flight Attendant for a second season, even after initially billing it as a miniseries, the WarnerMedia-owned streamer announced Friday. The announcement comes one day after the thrilling conclusion to the first season was released.
The second season will see the return of star and executive producer Kaley Cuoco as Cassie, who will find herself in the center of a new adventure. It is unclear who else among the ensemble will be returning.

Coinciding with its season one finale, HBO Max has announced that it has renewed its hit comedic thriller
The Flight Attendant for a second season, with Kaley Cuoco’s Cassie Bowden set to return for a brand new adventure.
Based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian, The Flight Attendant stars Cuoco as Cassie, a flight attendance who wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened.

Kaley Cuoco in The Flight Attendant (Phil Caruso). (CNN) The Flight Attendant feels like the TV equivalent of summer beach reading, in mostly good ways. Kaley Cuoco stars as the globetrotting party gal of the title, who has the unfortunate experience of waking up next to a dead guy. What happens thereafter plays like a Hitchock-ian thriller, punctuated by the comedy of a protagonist who greets each new development by nearly hyperventilating.
Adapted from a novel by Chris Bohjalian, the limited series introduces Cuoco s Cassandra drinking her way through various cities, in one of many montages set to a jazzy score by Blake Neely that really sets the mood that actually do a lot of work in moving the story along.
Kaley Cuoco will be qualifying for some frequent flier miles soon.
On Friday, it was announced by HBO s Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys that the mystery series The Flight Attendant will be renewed for a second season.
The HBO Max show was originally planned as a miniseries, and the critical acclaim it has received over the course of its run prompted its producers to order an additional set of episodes.
