Thumbs up Use stimulus to save homes and businesses There are lots of ideas being floated about what the city of Cincinnati and Hamilton County should do with the millions of dollars they are receiving through the American Rescue Plan, but one proposed by Hamilton County Treasurer Charlie Winburn deserves serious consideration. Winburn, who was appointed to finish out the last six months of former treasurer Richard Goering s term, wanted to do something impactful with the limited time he had, so he set about establishing a second-chance program to keep residents who had fallen behind on their property taxes out of foreclosure and in their homes and businesses.
