It also contains a new stage based on the Northern Cave setting and nine music tracks, including “One-Winged Angel,” which many video game fans are surely singing in their heads as they read this. Nintendo has announced a release date for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s latest DLC fighter, Final Fantasy’s Sephiroth.
Revealed at the Game Awards this month, the character will officially launch on December 22 (December 23 in the UK) as part Fighters Pass Vol. 2 – Challenger Pack 8, which also includes a new stage based on the Northern Cave setting and nine music tracks.
However, players who pre-order the DLC can now participate in a special in-game Sephiroth boss battle challenge. Completing it on any difficulty level will unlock all of the new content ahead of its official release.
