CAMDEN - A counselor is accused of sexually assaulting a child in a partial care program here. Steven Brown, 28, of Lindenwold was arrested after an investigation into allegations that he engaged in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 13, the Camden County Prosecutor s Office said. The prosecutor s office did not identify Brown s employer, citing an ongoing investigation. Brown is charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges against Brown are only allegations. He has not been convicted in this case. Brown was arrested Tuesday and is being held for trial in Camden County Jail after a detention hearing Friday.
