BELFAST  The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported issuing three traffic citations between April 13 - May 13. Of the three traffic citations, one was issued for an inspection sticker violation, one for failure to provide proof of insurance, and one for failure to register a vehicle. In addition to three traffic infractions, the WSO reported the following activity. An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named. April 13 April 24 Tylor A. Curtis, 21, of Brooks, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and operating without a license on Doak Road in Belfast.
