As Elon Musk works to persuade Federal Communications Commission officials to allow SpaceD to move some of its Starlink and lower altitudes than the initial plan, he took to Twitter on Tuesday. Starlink was the name of SpaceX s objective in building an interconnected internet network with nearly 12,000 satellites made to deliver high-speed internet wherever on the planet.

A recent report from the online reviewing portal REVIEWS.org conducted a study about how Americans think about Starlink. Noting that the SpaceX-provided Internet service is still in its beta phase, the product reviewers reported that Elon Musk s recent project has recently won close to $900 million in subsidies from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide connectivity to rural areas.

As the new internet provider is projected to start at $99 per month, it presents a higher monthly cost upfront than the average costs Americans pay for the Internet. SpaceX expanded its Starlink satellite internet internationally, with Elon Musk s company now offering early public access to the service in Canada and the United Kingdom.
The company has launched more than 1,000 of its Starlink satellites to date, as it aims to build an interconnected internet network with thousands of satellites that are designed to deliver high-speed internet to anywhere on the planet.
Public records show SpaceX has registered Starlink subsidiaries in Austria, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, France, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Africa and Spain.

Starlink will span the globe. SpaceX aims to connect rural communities around the globe to reliable satellite internet. The aerospace company is in the process of deploying thousands of Starlink satellites to orbit where each will beam broadband internet connection down to Earth. With performance that far surpasses that of traditional satellite internet, and a global network unbounded by ground infrastructure limitations, Starlink will deliver high speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable, expensive, or completely unavailable, the company states.
