The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL) have confirmed the addition of Jane Ewing, Senior Vice President Sustainability, Walmart as a speaker for the upcoming virtual 2021 Summit of the Americas
(5-9 April 2021).
Ewing leads Walmartâs sustainability team and efforts, which prioritise people and the planet by aiming to source responsibly, sell sustainable products, restore natural resources and reduce waste and emissions.
These initiatives will be discussed in a special session at the Summit, which will address sustainability as a core business value in retail and travel retail.

The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has revealed the first speakers for this year’s Summit of the Americas online conference.

Hosted by the IAADFS and the Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL), the event will see leading airport, cruise and border travel retailers from North and South America feature in its line-up of speakers.
On each day of the conference, the online Knowledge Hub will play host to diverse speakers. Sessions will discuss the shape and rhythm of recovery in the Americas market, reshaping the airport experience, changing consumer demand, digitalisation, sustainability, diversity and inclusion.

The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL) have announced that leading North and South American airport, cruise and border travel retailers will be among a strong speaker line-up confirmed for the 2021 Summit of the Americas, which takes place virtually from 5-9 April.
ASUTIL and IAADFS have confirmed that the virtual Knowledge Hub will host a daily selection of keynote addresses and sessions focusing on the shape and rhythm of recovery in the Americas market.
Other themes to be explored include the reshaping of the airport experience, changing consumer demand, digitalisation, sustainability and diversity and inclusion, alongside sessions which analyse travel prospects for the region and the economic outlook.
