SD DOH: 531 total new COVID-19 cases, eight deaths statewide

154 of Wednesday’s 531 total cases are considered as new probable cases.
Eight South Dakota residents have died from coronavirus-related complications. The state death toll is now 1,389.
123 confirmed cases were reported in West River: 72 in Pennington County, 12 in Meade County, nine in Oglala Lakota County, eight in Lawrence County, four each in Dewey and Haakon Counties, three each in Butte and Todd Counties, two in Stanley County and one each in Bennett, Corson, Custer, Jackson, Jones and Perkins Counties.
72 probable cases were reported West River: 43 in Pennington County, eight each in Meade and Perkins Counties, five in Tripp County, three in Bennett County, two each in Lyman and Mellette Counties and one in Lawrence County.
