HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Crews have responded to the Intracoastal Waterway near the S.C. 544 bridge in Socastee for a possible person in the water, according to officials with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources.
SCDNR spokesperson David Lucas said the agency is assisting Horry County Fire Rescue with the call.
No other information was immediately available.

And, I might add, enjoying the songs and activities of the birds with whom God has filled the skies.
Our own eastern bluebird is known as the “bluebird of happiness,” as it symbolizes joy and happiness in many cultures dating back thousands of years.
With a log cabin bird hotel hanging in our carport, I watched three bluebirds hatchings last year. I do believe three of the original fledglings came back on really cold nights to stay in the lodging they were born in because I could see them exit in flight some mornings.
