On Thursday, 53 camp counselors from The Zone Camp in Stamford, were taken to local hospitals for evaluation, and all were released and sent back to camp by the end of the day.
County Emergency services leaders believe it was caused by a loose exhaust pipe off the hot water heater.
The camp says the leak has been fixed and the building is back open again.
The New York State Department of Health tells me Carbon Monoxide detectors are required by the Uniform Building Code, which is enforced by the local code enforcement officials.
