Frederik Andersen said he d like to play a game for the Toronto Maple Leafs before the end of the regular season after the goalie participated in a full practice for the first time in five weeks Monday. It s great if I can get in action, he said. I think we have different options to try to do that. Right now, my focus is more just to see how it progresses day by day. I think we still have some time hopefully to get into some game action.

Canucks play first game since March 24
The Vancouver Canucks will play their first game since March 24 when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs (7 p.m. ET; SN, TVAS, NHL.TV). Vancouver had nine games postponed following a COVID-19 outbreak when 22 players tested positive for the virus. The Vancouver Canucks will return to play Sunday against the Toronto Maple Leafs after the NHL delayed their return from a COVID-19 outbreak.
Vancouver has not played since March 24 and had 22 players and four staff members test positive for the coronavirus. The Canucks were scheduled to return against the Edmonton Oilers on Friday and play the Maple Leafs on Saturday, but doctors from the team, the NHL and the NHL Players Association determined they needed more time.
