F-150 jacknifed on NS bridge Rhonda Lockhart / CBC
You’ve probably seen some “Danger, high wind” signs in your life. But this picture of a pickup and trailer jackknifed across the Cape Breton Seal Island Bridge is pretty jaw-dropping.
The two occupants of the truck weren’t injured in the morning incident, but the rig totally blocked the bridge until rescue crews could safely untangle it from its position wedged in the guardrail, according to CBC. Winds hampered the efforts. “The winds picked up the trailer, and essentially caused the whole vehicle and trailer to turn,” said an RCMP spokesperson.
