SKIPPACK â For Montgomery Countyâs very own Superman, watching President Joe Bidenâs address to a joint session of Congress Wednesday night was an unforgettable moment.
âThe experience altogether was one Iâll probably remember for the rest of my life,â said Dr. Mayank Amin, a pharmacist and owner of Skippack Pharmacy in Schwenksville. âNot because it was a special invitation to me as a pharmacist whoâs helped with the vaccine drives, but it was a token of appreciation to everyone thatâs helped in this fight.â
Amin was asked by U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-4th Dist., to attend the speech as her guest.
SKIPPACK â Mayank Amin, the owner of Skippack Pharmacy, which has vaccinated more than 30,000 people against the COVID-19 virus, was scheduled to be the virtual guest of U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean at President Joe Biden s address to Congress Wednesday night.
The vaccination work by Dr. Mak and the Skippack Pharmacy has helped reduce the COVID-19 infection and death rate in the region.
âCommunity leaders like Dr. Mak are the true heroes of this recovery, and I am proud to uplift him and his story as my virtual guest to the Presidential Address,â Dean, D-4th Dist., said in a press release. âSkippack Pharmacy has been a leader in the region, thanks to support from the American Rescue Plan â I am thankful for the work Skippack Pharmacy and Dr. Mak are doing to ensure our communities are safe and healthy.â
