Mexican Wrestling Legend Blue Demon Jr. Announced For New Disney Live-Action Series
Disney has announced that Mexican wrestling legend Blue Demon Jr. will star in the “Ultra Violet & Blue Demon” live-action superhero action-comedy series from the Disney Channel.
Demon Jr. will star in the series alongside Scarlett Estevez. The series will feature Demon Jr. playing a version of himself, while Disney Channel star Estevez will play a character named Ultra Violet.
Disney noted that the series, which introduces a relatable Mexican American family with a special legacy, will also use a predominately Latin main cast and production team. Demo Jr. is also one of the co-executive producer for the series.

The cast is rounded out by Marianna Burelli, Juan Alfonso, Brandon Rossel, Zelia Ankrum and Bryan Blanco. In addition to his starring role, Blue Demon Jr. will co-executive produce the series with Jorge Garcia Castro and Moxie 88′s Dan Carrillo Levy and Eugenio Villamar.

As they start to work together, Uncle Blue realizes he can learn a few things from Ultra’s modern Gen-Z take on crime-fighting.
