A Scotts Bluff County duo is facing felony charges stemming from two controlled meth buys that occurred in April, 2020.
41-year-old Raymond Runge of Mitchell and 49-year-old Kerri Zerrenner of Scottsbluff were arrested this week on charges of Distribution of an Exceptionally Hazardous Substance.
Court records say that on April 9th, Runge sold a CI $80 worth of methamphetamine during a controlled buy. The next day, both Runge and Zerrenner were involved in a second sale to a CI.
After the drugs came back from the state drug lab confirming the substance to be methamphetamine a warrant for their arrests were issued.
A Gering man is facing three felony charges for alleged electronic communications of a sexual nature nearly two years ago with a then-13-year-old female victim. 23-year-old Angel Rojas was scheduled to make an initial appearance in Scotts Bluff County Court Monday afternoon on charges of Child Enticement by Electronic Device, Possession of Child Pornography Age [.]
A 19-year-old Gering man was arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in 2019. Isiah Ramirez is scheduled to make his first appearance Monday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court on a charge of Forcible 1st Degree Sex Assault. Three men arrested as part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking made initial appearances in Scotts Bluff County Court Monday, with further proceedings for all three set for Feb. 22.
66-year-old James “Jimbo” Gutierrez of Gering was charged with two counts of sex trafficking and one count of 1st degree forcible sexual assault, and 60-year-old Jeffrey B. Calder of Scottsbluff was charged with one count each of sex trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and two counts of possession of a short shotgun following their arrest last Friday.
Arrest affidavits for both Gutierrez and Calder were sealed by Judge Randin Roland upon request of prosecutors, who said in their motion that “statements by victims and the defendant in this case indicate there are other victims”. Co

A Gering man is facing a pair of felony drug charges following a series of controlled drug buys conducted by the WING Drug Task Force last year.
56-year-old Travis Gilliland was arrested Wednesday on two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.
In court documents, investigators say Gilliland sold 7.5 and 8.3 grams of meth to cooperating individuals during separate WING operations in mid-April 2020.
An initial court appearance for Gilliland is scheduled for this morning in Scotts Bluff County Court.
Initial bond in the case was set at $250,000 with a ten percent provision. Each charge carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of one year, and a maximum of 50 years.
