UK Athletics has been rocked by accusations of sexual harassment, abuse and degrading comments in a new report detailing the lack of opportunities for female coaches in the sport.
Athletics governing body has also been accused of overseeing an old boys network with alarming statistics revealing not a single female coach has been present on a senior British Olympic programme team at a major international event for more than 10 years.
Stephen Maguire
Strabane s Stephen Maguire is set to leave his role as director of performance and coaching at Scottish Athletics.
The governing body stated that Maguire feels the time is right to return home on a more permanent basis after working with Scottish athletics since 2014.
His departure from the Scottish Athletics director of performance and coaching position comes just a few months after he stepped down from his role as head of sprints, hurdles and relays at UK Athletics.
