The Chief of the Dryden Police Service is commending staff and officers for another year of dedicated service.
Through all the challenges that 2020 presented, Chief Doug Palson says they want to recognize more than ever the dedication of staff and city supporters.
“There’s a message that I sent out to all of our staff, not only the people we officially recognize (and award) but everybody for the good work they did this year and all their efforts in getting through 20202. We really do like the opportunity to recognize some of the people who support us within the city.”

Filipino singer Arnel Pineda, lead vocalist for the legendary American band Journey, has revealed that his biopic is pushing through as “Crazy Rich Asians” director Jon Chu and other Warner executives are scheduled to visit him in Manila.
“It’s going to happen. I think they’re gonna start. Some people from Warner will start coming here. I think maybe with (Crazy Rich Asians director) Jon Chu and (Joker and The Fighter screenwriter) Scott Silver. They might come here to audition actors and actresses that will take part in the bopic,” said Pineda, in his exclusive virtual interview for Rolling Stones recently.

WASHINGTON, Jan 28 (Reuters) - A YouTube streamer who helped drive a surge in the shares of GameStop Corp is a 34-year-old financial advisor from Massachusetts and until recently worked for insurance giant MassMutual, public records and social media posts show.
Keith Patrick Gill is the person behind the Roaring Kitty YouTube streams which, along with a string of posts by Reddit user DeepF ingValue, helped attract a flood of retail cash into GameStop, burning hedge funds who had bet against the company and roiling the broader market.
In his social media messages and videos, Gill repeatedly made the bull case for the beleaguered bricks-and-mortar retailer and shared images of his trading account profit on the stock, sparking a following of likeminded GameStop enthusiasts.
