A number of people have been on trial charged with burglary offences over the past few weeks in Bradford A TOTAL of 16 people have appeared in court in Bradford during the past few weeks on burglary charges across the Bradford district. All 16 were summoned to Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on the charges during April and May. Of the 16, eight have been sent to Bradford Crown Court for their trials to continue. Nine have admitted their crimes, having been found guilty or indicated a guilty plea; six have either pleaded not guilty or not indicated how they will plea, and a warrant has been arrested for one.

The US Food and Drug Administration announced its plan to ban menthol-flavored cigarettes and all flavored cigars on Thursday, and pundits on Twitter are far from thrilled.
“Banning menthol the last allowable flavor in cigarettes and banning all flavors in cigars will help save lives, particularly among those disproportionately affected by these deadly products,” Acting FDA Commissioner Dr.
Janet Woodcock said in a statement. “With these actions, the FDA will help significantly reduce youth initiation, increase the chances of smoking cessation among current smokers, and address health disparities experienced by communities of color, low-income populations, and LGBTQ+ individuals, all of whom are far more likely to use these tobacco products.”
