Chef James Carroll has been hit with a two-and-a-half year driving ban after being stopped when almost three-and-a-half times the drink-drive limit.
The 50-year-old was pulled over as part of a routine check in Hamil Road, Burslem, and officers could immediately smell alcohol on his breath.
