A SURFER who was attacked by a shark in Hawaii has died from his injuries after the animal chomped down on him and his board as he paddled out.
The 56-year-old from Lahaina was initially listed as being in stable condition and underwent surgery after the Honolua Bay attack on Tuesday.

However, his condition deteriorated following the surgery leading to his death, Hawaii News Now reported.
The attack took place just before 8am, and a spokesperson for the Maui Fire Department said the victim was already on the shore being given aid when they arrived.

Haitian-American rapper Zoey Dollaz was shot multiple times in Miami late last night.
Reports indicate that the rapper survived the attack and is in stable condition.
The 30-year-old Blow A Check singer was reportedly on his way to the Booby Trap On The River strip club near the Miami airport when he was shot.
