Shoppers queue for AN HOUR in the rain for the Trafford Centre on Bank Holiday Monday Shopping centre bosses said they observes strict capacity limits for safety reasons Updated Shoppers queue in the rain on Bank Holiday Monday Shoppers queued for an hour to get into the Trafford Centre during a grey and miserable Bank Holiday Monday. Some even waited in the rain, with signs in the car park saying the centre was full as people tried to get a space. One shopper who queued up claimed social distancing wasn t being observed. The Trafford Centre said customer safety is its highest priority , and that strict capacity limits are observed within the venue.

New shops and restaurants at the Trafford Centre However, The Trafford Centre as we know it is also changing, with new brands and shops also set to open their doors from April 12 including: Gym+Coffee- An athleisure brand (opening 17 April) Polestar- A car showroom  Chopstix- Noodle Bar Rituals- cosmetics store Pop Specs- Ophthalmic service Aldo- Shoe store (Photo: Trafford Centre/Charlotte Cunningham) Can we eat at Trafford Centre restaurants? (Photo: Trafford Centre) Dining-in at restaurants and indoor entertainment venues isn’t allowed until 17 May at the earliest.   However, a wide range of restaurants, such as Tampopo, Five Guys, Archie’s, Barburrito and Slim Chickens, will be offering a takeaway service from 12 April - with visitors welcome to enjoy their food and drink on one of the centre’s many outdoor areas.
