Talk About Oak Harbor: Tis the season for litter clean up
Linda Hartigan
Spring is here. Flowers are blooming and the grass is greening. Unfortunately, we now also see the accumulation of trash along our area roads. The recent high winds have contributed some to the collection. Most of it comes from vehicles as folks finish their drink, cigarette or snack.
Litter was especially bad at the intersection of Oak Harbor Southeast Road and Ohio 19. Then about two weeks ago, my husband and I noted it was completely cleared of trash. Beautiful work by someone.
I was hoping to thank the person or group who took the initiative and cleaned up that area. However, I do not know who that was. Neither does the Ottawa Sandusky Seneca County Joint Solid Waste District Communication and Outreach Specialist Tim Hassinger.
