German shares edge down Monday Xinhua 18 May 2021, 03:30 GMT+10 FRANKFURT, May 17 (Xinhua) German stocks edged down on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 20.02 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 15,396.62 points. Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero lost 2.79 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by the energy division of Siemens Group, Siemens Energy and its parent company Siemens Group, which lost 2.58 percent and 2.12 percent respectively. Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas gained 2.86 percent, becoming the top gainer. Telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom and automotive manufacturer BMW advanced by 2.74 percent and 1.21 percent respectively. Deutsche Telekom was the most traded share with a turnover of 270.98 million euros (329.05 million U.S. dollars).

Continuous Composites, Siemens Energy apply high-performance materials for power generators
