Inflation Overtakes CCP Virus as Biggest Risk for Investors: Bank of America
Inflation has displaced the CCP virus as investors’ top worry, as Wall Street looks beyond the pandemic to the effects of the tidal wave of stimulus and the unleashing of pent-up demand as the economy recovers, a new Bank of America survey shows.
The bank’s most recent Global Fund Manager Survey (FMS) indicates that while the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus was the biggest “tail risk” in February, that has been replaced in March by above-expectation rates of inflation.
Virus worries have fallen to third, behind so-called “taper tantrums” in the bond market. These are sharp selloffs triggered by worries about faster economic growth and higher inflation, driving the Federal Reserve to react by raising interest rates.

Updates on CCP Virus: Virgin Voyages Mandates Vaccines for All Crew and Passengers
Virgin Voyages, the cruise line founded by billionaire business magnate Richard Branson, will require all crew and passengers to get a CCP virus vaccine, the company said.
The move makes Virgin Voyages one of the first cruise lines to mandate the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus vaccine.
“We know that the future is vaccinations and testing,” McAlpin said, and that’s why Virgin Voyages is “committed to fully vaccinated cruises,” he added.
McAlpin said the adult-only aspect of the cruise line “allows for us to offer a highly controlled, safe environment for everyone on board” and that the company is “uniquely set up to do this with testing and vaccine travel requirements.”

Over 100 medical staff at a hospital in Harbin city were quarantined after a nurse tested positive for COVID-19, but local authorities attempted to conceal the situation, a trusted source told The Epoch Times. According to documents obtained by the publication, authorities require hospitals to follow strict guidelines in dealing with COVID-19 infections. But one expert says that the process is just a “political formality.”
Last month, an anonymous source told the Chinese-language Epoch Times that an infected case was confirmed at Heilongjiang COVID-19 treatment center, which is located at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, on Jan. 30. The hospital is located in Nangang district of Harbin, the provincial capital of China’s northeastern Heilongjiang Province.
