The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), for the first time, hosted the 10th edition of the Bumper to Bumper (B2B) event with ride-in/drive-in movie in Cebu from June 5-6, 2021, at the T2 Carpark. The longest-running outdoor car show and lifestyle event in Asia featured the best automotive models and allowed car clubs and enthusiasts to show off their passion for automobile creations. 151 cars and off-road vehicles participated in the event. Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) receives Airports Council International - Airport Health Accreditation (ACI-AHA)
Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has received the Airport Health Accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI) in recognition of the health and safety measures implemented in Terminals 1 & 2. These health and safety measures meet global airport standards such as the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery guidelines, ICAO Council Aviation Restart Task Force (CART) recommendations, as well as other industry best practices. With this accreditation, CEB is recognized as one of the airports globally driving best industry practices for safe travel during the pandemic. The Airport Health Accreditation Certification was awarded to CEB on 26 January 2021.
