Speaker Asad Qaiser says democratic forces have given sacrifices for supremacy of Constitution
Pakistan’s 1973 Constitution completed 48 years of existence on Saturday.
In roughly five decade journey, the supreme law of the country has guided the country’s law, political culture and the overall system.
On the occasion of the 48th Constitution Day of Pakistan which is commemorated across the country on April 10 every year, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that the Constitution provides protection and equal rights to every citizen of the country.
“It is our foremost responsibility to uphold the sanctity of the Constitution. Supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law is essential for the development of the country,” the speaker said. “True spirit of the Constitution needs to be adopted to address the challenges being faced by the country.”

Islamabad : Vaccination of the people against coronavirus will be a huge challenge for the government and the rural support programmes can help ensure an access of the residents of far-flung areas to the vaccine, said Islamabad deputy commissioner Hamza Shafqaat on Thursday.
He was speaking during the National Convention of LSOs 2021, which was held by the Rural Support Programme Network (RSPN) online. This year, the themes of the annual event were the Role of Community-Driven Development in Socio-Economic Empowerment of Rural Communities in Pakistan; and Community Institutions and their Response to COVID-19 in Partnership with Government and Donors; and as well as Empowering Communities to Improve Nutrition and Economic Opportunities.

Kolkata: Even as AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi mocked and attempted to guess what the Muslim man in photograph with Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have told the latter, Times Now tracked the man, identified as Zulfikar Ali to find out what he actually whispered in PM s ears.
While Owaisi guessed that the man may have told the PM that he was not a Bangladeshi or conveyed displeasure over NRC, the reality is far from different. In fact, contrary to criticism by political parties that the man was a PR gimmick of the BJP, in reality, it was the former s wish to be clicked with the PM.
Apni Party Trade Union organizes convention

JAMMU, Apr 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party president, Altaf Bukhari today said that traders were worst effected with the developments after August 5, 2019 scenerio in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing one-day convention organized by the Apni Party Trade Union leader, Aijaz Kazmi at Gandhinagar in Jammu today, Bukhari referred to the problems being faced by the traders community and urged upon the Government to address their issues on priority.
He said that people, especially related to trade had to face immense problems after the post-August 5 scenario and to resolve all these anomalies the restoration of Statehood remains of pivotal importance.
