UBS hits Goldman Sachs, Macquarie for new hires

UBS has made two new hires.Â

Street Talk understands the Swiss bank inked two new signings this week to bolster its financial institutions investment banking coverage and equities team.
It is understood Goldman Sachs banker Andrew Buchanan has joined UBS as an executive director in its FIG team, where he will work alongside Shane Doyle and Katie Klosterman.
Meanwhile, the bank has also picked up Macquarieâs Angus Bottrell, who was working in global equity sales at the Silver Donut and will do the same at UBS.
The pair are expected to start at UBS in coming months, after serving out a period of gardening leave.

Core’s new creative work for the HSE, We Can Do This… , uses an ensemble cast to mark the next phase of COVID-19 communications that have been a constant part of our lives throughout the pandemic.
The piece opens with young children imagining themselves metaphorically tackling the virus in an almost poetic style, before moving through the rest of the cast. People who, either while working or in all too familiar situations, mark their frustrations, while reinforcing the actions we can all take to combat COVID-19.
MONTANA - The Montana Film Office awarded a total of $500,000 in grants to 14 films that will be shot on location across the state. The office estimated these projects will spend $72 million in Montana while filming.Â
The projects cover a wide range of themes such as, a documentary about issues tribal women face, a feature film about a Montana MMA fighter and an educational series for children featuring music and animation.Â
They ll be shot all throughout the state, from Hamilton and Missoula to different parts of eastern Montana.Â
These projects don t just create jobs in Montana s growing film industry, but boosts the economy beyond that, Allison Whitmer, Montana film commissioner, said.Â
