Amir commends ministry of health’s frontline workers KUWAIT: HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah yesterday commended government authorities’ efforts, namely the ministry of health, whose healthcare workers are on the frontline in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. HH the Amir made the remarks during a reception of Health Minister Sheikh Dr Basel Hmoud Al-Sabah, who briefed the Amir about health conditions in the country and preventive measures implemented by the health ministry to confront the pandemic. Sheikh Basel also spoke about “dangerous developments” of the pandemic, which requires further efforts to curb its spread with the objective of preserving the health system in Kuwait. He also briefed HH the Amir about the presentation he made at the National Assembly and the “smooth” vaccination campaign.
