New Plymouth Old Boys (NPOB) will take on arch rivals New Plymouth Marist United (NPMU) in the Taranaki Cricket Premier grade final after each won their respective semifinals last weekend. Top qualifiers NPOB had a comfortable win against New Plymouth Boys’ High School (NPBHS). The school side was severely depleted with their usual First XI away playing in the Gillette Cup national finals, which meant they named a number of fringe First XI players along with some second XI players to fill the void and to their credit they put up decent fight.
