Winner of $1,000,000 Mega Million jackpot claims prize

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) A Louisville man has claimed his prize after winning $1,000,000 in the Mega Millions drawing. According to a news release, the lucky winner presented the ticket at lottery headquarters Dec. 14. His ticket matched the five white ball numbers but not the Mega Ball for the drawing held Dec. 11. The winning numbers were: 19 – 31 – 37 – 55 – 67 and Mega Ball 25. After state and federal withholdings, he received a check for $710,000. Lottery officials said the man won the jackpot on a $10 quick pick ticket for five sets of numbers at the Speedway on Shelbyville Road in Middletown. His white ball numbers matched the winning numbers on line B of the ticket.

Louisville protester not indicted on wanton endangerment charge

Jurors declined to indict Robin Marie Crandal Ash on a first degree wanton endangerment charge. Author: WHAS11 News Staff Updated: 5:36 PM EST December 16, 2020 LOUISVILLE, Ky. A Kentucky grand jury decided Wednesday not to indict a woman accused of pointing a gun during a Louisville justice for Breonna Taylor march in September. According to  Commonweath Attorney Tom Wine s office, the case was referred to the Jefferson County Grand Jury in October. Jurors convened Wednesday and declined to indict Robin Marie Crandal Ash on a first degree wanton endangerment charge. According to a news release, the grand jury declined to return an indictment against Ash after a review of the facts and applicable law and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office said there was insufficient evidence to rebut claims of self-protection and protection of others beyond a reasonable doubt.

Authorities identify man and woman found shot to death in east Louisville driveway

According to the Jefferson County Coroner s Office, those individuals have been identified as 68-year-old Donald Burns and 66-year-old Peggy Burns. LMPD Eighth Division Officers were called to 800 Dorsey Way, not far from Shelbyville Road, on a report of a double shooting around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, according to LMPD spokeswoman Alicia Smiley. When officers arrived on scene, they the two people deceased in the driveway, according to Smiley.  Smiley said police believe all individuals involved in the shooting have been accounted for. Detectives are still working to determine the circumstances of the shootings, she said. LMPD s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. Smiley said there is no threat to the public.
