SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Tennessee’s COVID-19 cases have increased by 3,188 within the last 24 hours along with 69 additional deaths.
Tennessee Department of Health data suggests there are more than 77,000 active cases statewide with over 480,227 cases considered inactive/recovered.
As of Sunday, the state’s total case count tops 564,000 with virus-related deaths reaching 6,512.
TDH says there are over 2,800 Tennesseans currently hospitalized due to complications with the virus.
