SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - At this time 903 people have died from coronavirus in Shelby County, according to the health department. More than 67,000 coronavirus cases have been reported in Shelby County since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Shelby County Health Department has identified 602 new coronavirus cases and 12 more deaths within 24 hours.
Health leaders have released new information concerning the Mid-South vaccination process. Health leaders said the vaccine has been given at two drive-thru vaccination site in Shelby County. First responders and certain high-rick frontline workers are apart of phase 1a1 of the Tennessee Department of Health’s COVID-19 Vaccination Plan.

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health reports 5,993 new coronavirus cases and 97 new deaths in 24 hours.
Since the pandemic began, 586,802 cases have been identified and 6,907 virus-related deaths have been reported.
A total of 508,914 recoveries across Tennessee have also been reported along with 3,218 current hospitalizations.
More than 5.5 million COVID-19 tests have been administered across the state since the start of the pandemic.

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Tennessee Department of Health is reporting 8,220 new cases and 100 deaths in Tennessee.
Wednesdayâs latest numbers bring the stateâs total case count to more than 580,000 with the death toll at 6,810.
Tennesseeâs active cases are now at more than 73,300, according to TDH data.
TDH also says 501,691 cases among Tennesseans are now inactive/recovered.

SHELBY CO., Tenn. (WMC) - There are nearly 4,800 new COVID-19 cases in Tennessee as of Tuesday afternoon with the addition of 122 virus-related deaths.
The Tennessee Department of Health says the state has seen over 572,000 total cases and 6,710 death since the first case was identified here in March.
The number of inactive/recovered cases has reach more than 493,000 statewide.
And as cases increase daily, TDH data suggests there are approximately more than 72,000 active cases in Tennessee.
