Man, woman arrested in Greenfield following high-speed pursuit >Published: 7/6/2021 4:38:50 PM GREENFIELD A man and woman were arrested on Federal Street early Tuesday afternoon after allegedly leading police on a vehicle pursuit in Deerfield and reaching nearly 115 mph. Officers with the Greenfield Police Department arrested the suspects at 12:35 p.m. and they were turned over to Massachusetts State Police to be processed at the Shelburne Falls barracks. No information about the suspects’ identities was available as of 4 p.m., State Police spokesperson David Procopio said, though it is believed the man was driving the vehicle. According to Procopio, at 11:45 a.m. a state trooper heading north on Interstate 91 tried to stop a blue SUV with Delaware plates that had been reported stolen. The driver allegedly refused to stop and a pursuit continued for several minutes before the suspect crossed over the median and began driving southbound, also at a high rate of speed. At rou
