Live Nation unveils plans for Houston music venue ‘The Terminal’

HOUSTON – Live Nation revealed details on the November 2021 opening of the live music venue “The Terminal.”
The 5,000-capacity venue is designed with advanced architecture, creating a distinctive experience for artists and fans by replicating the same intimate feel of a small club, according to a release.
The Terminal, designed by internationally renowned firm OMA, will turn the historic former Barbara Jordan Post Office into a hub for culture, food, shopping and recreation.
According to a release, when artists stand on The Terminal’s stage, in their line of sight, guests will appear to “wallpaper” the room with virtually no visible blank spaces or gaps as all-balcony aisles and walkways have been designed at angles so that the artist never sees the aisles, only people.

We can hear the amps powering up already. Yesterday, Live Nation revealed plans for a concert venue downtown thatâll boast large crowds while still creating an intimate feeling.
Called The Terminal, the new space will rock out from inside the former Barbara Jordan Post Office, which has since been reborn as POST Houston, a highly anticipated mixed-use space/foodie paradise. And the music will start blaring this November.
