16-Year-Old Is One of Three Dead in Yesterday s Killings in Loleta – Redheaded Blackbelt

The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be  : On Feb. 10, 2021, at about 8:12 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Carroll Road on the Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria Reservation for the report of multiple victims with serious injuries discovered inside a residence. Bear River Tribal Police Officers were first to arrive on scene and located two deceased victims- a male and a female- and a third victim with serious injuries inside the residence. The third victim, a female, was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Officers also located two juveniles uninjured inside the residence. The juveniles were placed into safe custody.

Two Arrested in Fortuna Outskirts on Charges Possession of Heroin For Sale, Sheriff s Office Says

Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office: On Feb. 6, 2021, at about 12:30 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a probation search at a residence on the 100 block of Palmer Boulevard in the county’s jurisdiction of Fortuna. Deputies contacted and detained two people on scene. During a search of the residence, deputies located approximately 5.3 ounces of heroin, prescription medication, items consistent with the sale of controlled substances and a large amount of cash. William Henry Jeffers, age 25, was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of a controlled substance for sales and violation of probation.

### ### Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office: On Feb. 5, 2020, at about 7:10 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Little Fairfield Street, in the county’s jurisdiction of Eureka, for the report of a dog attack in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and located a 59-year-old female victim with serious injuries related to a dog attack. The victim was given emergency medical treatment by first responders on scene and then was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The dog, identified as a pit bull, had already been contained upon deputy arrival.  

Man Arrested for Attempted Murder Following Today s Standoff in Westhaven

Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office: On Feb. 2, 2021, at about 10 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Westhaven Drive in Westhaven for the report of a domestic disturbance with shots fired. After arriving in the area, deputies made contact with one male victim. The victim told deputies that he had arrived at the residence while a disturbance was occurring and was confronted outside by the suspect, 35-year-old Walter Wayne Wright. According to the victim, Wright reportedly pointed a firearm at him and threatened to kill him. The victim was able to flee the scene in his vehicle, however, as the victim was leaving the property, Wright reportedly fired his weapon, striking the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured during this incident.
